Association Rules

Alumni Association Rules

  • The “General Body” means the General Body of the Association.
  • The “Governing Body” means the Executive Committee of the Association.
  • Alumnus means an ex-student of the College, who has obtained a degree from V.S.B. Engineering College, Karur under the Anna University of Chennai.
  • The Association may have Patrons as approved by the Governing Body, provided that a patron shall be an outstanding professional. Such appointment is for a period of one year.
  • Any student who successfully obtains any degree/diploma from the College automatically becomes a Life Member of the Association.
  • The following shall be the authorities of the Association.
  • The General Body
    • The General Body consists of the faculty members of V.S.B. Engineering College, Karur and they can select the members of Governing Body.
  • The Governing Body
    • The Selected office bearers consist of,

      • Vice President
      • Secretary
      • Joint Secretary
      • Executive Member
    • The Secretary shall perform the following duties:
      • To organize the Alumni events:
      • To create the annual report for the alumni meet.
      • Conducting Mock Interview for students
      • Providing job portal for alumni
      • Fostering alumni visits to campus
      • Lectures, sponsorships, mentoring, internships, placement
      • Holding alumni reunions
      • Provide students guidance for higher studies and career development as and when required by them, with help from alumni.
      • Maintain a compendium of all alumni in different parts of the world.
      • Establish, promote and support the local chapters of the association in different parts of the world.
